About the role
The Employee Relations (ER) Director oversees a wide variety of cases and investigations, serves as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders, and leads initiatives that mitigate risk, support business objectives, and promote a healthy work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead investigations and manage ER cases, performance concerns, and disciplinary issues.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, advise managers, facilitate resolution, and prepare related analyses and documentation.
- Resolve complex employment matters and champion strategic ER practices that continuously evolve to mitigate risk.
- Partner across the enterprise to ensure smooth implementation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Talents Needed For Success: Minimum of 10 years experience in an Employee Relations or HR Business Partner role
- Law degree with concentration in employment law preferred or Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or equivalent experience
- Deep employment law and ER practice experience
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-risk cases and investigations
- Solid analytical, problem solving and project management skills

Schedule
DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
