Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Owning and helping improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery
• Keeping the work area free of any potential work hazards
• Maintaining and using appropriate tools and equipment
• Measuring, cutting, and caulking materials
• Operating rivet punchers and other heavy machinery
• Installing decals and signs
• Installing truck bed flooring
• Assisting in different departments as assigned
• Wearing approved personal protective equipment
• Completing assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices

Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills
• Knowledge and training provided by Wabash

Working Conditions/Environment

• Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts
• High temperatures at times
• Work in small spaces
• Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Standing, walking, leaning, pushing, climbing, sitting, bending, kneeling, stooping, handling, and operating tools or controls for the entirety of their shift
• Constant attention to safety, environmental, and health concerns

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle, and operate tools or controls for the entirety of their shift
• Full range of motion in arms and hands
• All assemblers must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees
