What You’ll Do
- Provide warm, efficient food and beverage service to Hyatt team members.
- Set up, replenish, and break down the cafeteria food line during scheduled meal periods.
- Aid in basic cooking and food preparation for the employee cafeteria.
- Maintain a clean and organized cafeteria, including sweeping, mopping, wiping tables, and general sanitation.
- Perform pre-meal and post-meal side work, including preparation and restocking.
- Obtain and maintain necessary supplies from the kitchen to ensure smooth cafeteria operations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Food handling or cafeteria service experience preferred.
- Ability to cook or assist with preparing meals for a cafeteria setting.
- Availability to work opening shifts (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) and/or closing shifts (1:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.).
- Current Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
- A positive attitude and a team-focused mindset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Comfortable standing and moving throughout the shift.
