Employee Benefits Attorney - Remote

The Employee Benefits Attorney position is available in the firm's Albany office. Remote arrangements are considered.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have four to ten years of experience with Employee Benefits law, including ERISA, retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans, and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and counsel on employee benefits matters
- Assist in the design, establishment, maintenance, and operation of various employee benefit plans
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employee benefits laws and regulations
- Advise clients on plan administration and fiduciary responsibilities
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
Requirements
- Four to ten years of experience with Employee Benefits law
- Experience with all areas of employee benefits, including ERISA, retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans
- Strong academic background
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for client service and initiative
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice law in New York State
- Member of the American Bar Association

Pay
The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $139,000 – $192,000. Actual base salary will be based upon criteria such as experience, qualifications, and skill level.
