Employee Benefits Associate (3+ Years) | IndianapolisA leading AmLaw firm is seeking an Employee Benefits Associate with at least three years of experience to join its nationally recognized employee benefits practice in Indianapolis.This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation matters while advising employers on sophisticated plan design, compliance, and transactional issues. Attorneys in the group work closely with clients on both day-to-day counseling and complex corporate transactions.Representative ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation mattersDesign, draft, and maintain qualified retirement and welfare benefit plansSupport defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), and employee welfare plansAssist with executive compensation arrangements and related compliance issuesProvide employee benefits support in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactionsCounsel clients regarding tax, regulatory, and compliance considerations affecting benefit plansQualificationsAt least 3 years of experience handling ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation mattersStrong understanding of ERISA, tax, and related laws governing employee benefit plansExcellent research, drafting, and communication skillsStrong organizational, time management, and project management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple matters while delivering responsive client serviceCollaborative, team-oriented approachWhy Consider This OpportunityHighly regarded employee benefits practice with a sophisticated client baseExposure to a broad mix of advisory, compliance, and transactional workOpportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on complex mattersCollaborative environment with a strong platform for professional growthFor a confidential discussion or to learn more, please apply directly!
