Job Description Benefits Account Manager Job Summary Seeking a dedicated and professional Benefits Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing client relationships while managing a portfolio of fully insured accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and client-focused environment. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with early office closures on Fridays, and the opportunity to work with a supportive and dynamic team. Compensation Package Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience.Work Environment: Hybrid (1–2 days remote per week).Additional Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities Manage a book of business consisting of 70–90 fully insured groups, ranging in size from small groups to accounts with 50–100 employees.Prepare and present proposals for new and renewal business, with a focus on quoting (80% quoting, 20% other responsibilities).Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.Occasionally travel to client offices as required.Utilize software tools such as Gen4 and Benefits Zone to manage accounts effectively. Qualifications/Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3 years in customer service or a related field. Benefits experience is highly preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Gen4 and Benefits Zone software is a plus.Soft Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Empathy and the ability to connect with clients and team members.Confidence in speaking in front of groups.Adaptability and a collaborative mindset.Resilience and the ability to handle constructive feedback.
