About the role
Brown & Brown is seeking Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our growing team in Dedham, MA!
Responsibilities
- Cultivate, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company by optimizing resources to address the client's needs, including risk and the identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues.
- Manage and retain existing book of business.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, overseeing daily servicing activities, billing, inquiries, and in-person or virtual meetings, and proactively identifying opportunities for account rounding and organic growth.
- Follow-up to address customer needs and resolve any problems or issues.
- Manage and maintain agency management system with current required information and documents on an ongoing basis, including all IO requirements.
- Continuously achieve all audit and performance standards as outlined by leadership while simultaneously delivering high quality service.
- Process daily mail and tasks, including faxes and e-mails, for assigned accounts.
- Prepare customer renewals, including proposals and presentations while ensuring agreement with customer’s requests / requirements.
- Keep current with email & tasks including billing and invoices.
- Meet with clients / walk-ins in the office as needed / upon request.
- Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings as required by the Office Leader, Producer or Employee Benefits Leader.
- Pursues a course of personal, professional development.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Strong technical knowledge of the industry of expertise currently being targeted.
- Insurance Producer license in good standing (authorities in states needed to service the assigned book of business)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Skills

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
