Employee Benefits Account Manager

Description

Aid in managing client accounts, delivering prompt and efficient customer service for inquiries, issues, and requests. Create and update client presentations, reports, and updates using software like Zywave, Benefit Central, and Employee Navigator to assist in recommending employee benefits. Perform quality control tasks, reviewing client-completed forms, files, and internal processes. Communicate with carriers to address and resolve client requests. Train clients on self-service portals and their roles in administering employee benefits. Assist in internal filing and documentation.

Requirements

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Empathetic when necessary
• A self-starter who is self-motivated to learn about the industry and serve clients
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Technologically inclined and quick to learn new systems
• An effective communicator, both written and verbally
• A sense of urgency to serve clients and the team, taking pride in work
• Manage relationships with carrier partners and clients
• Gain knowledge in the Insurance and employee benefits industry
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Maintain or obtain a 215 FL Life & Health License within 30 days of hire
• Valid Driver's License
