Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor

About the role

STGi is seeking an EAP counselor to support the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) for a future opening. The position is located at 2900 South Quincy Street, Suite 888, Arlington, Virginia, United States (Tracking Code 15788). Candidates should be based in the Washington, DC area (DC/MD/VA). NGA promotes employee wellness through a proactive, multi-disciplinary approach to service delivery, aiming for maximum integration of all health and wellness components.

Responsibilities

• Counsels and assists employees with issues affecting job-related performance and personal well-being.
• Evaluates and recommends outside treatment and counseling if necessary.

Requirements

• Education – Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure – Must be current, unrestricted state license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.
• Security clearance capability – TS/SCI.
• Required Experience – Approximately 3 years of experience minimum.

Pay

Pay rate starting at: $33/hour
