About the role

Seneca Foods is seeking seasonal production workers for the 2026 growing season. The positions involve processing fresh vegetables in our production plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks on the production line, processing fresh vegetables.
• Regularly perform sanitation duties to prepare the plant for scheduled production.
• Provide coverage during other employees' breaks.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

• Strong work ethic.
• Regular attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food processing or related field preferred.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Physical stamina and strength.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Pay

• Initial salary range based on skills and experience: $14.88 to $15.99 per hour.

Schedule

• Variable shifts, typically 12 hours per day, 7 days a week.
• Shifts may vary based on weather and crop availability.
