Empire - Server
Brief Description
A typical day might include greeting guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor, attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders, ensuring orders are accurate and served promptly, anticipating and fulfilling guest needs, preparing guest checks and collecting payments, resolving service issues with empathy, monitoring alcohol consumption, promoting Big Night Entertainment Group, maintaining a clean work environment, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years direct serving experience in an upscale, high volume restaurant required
- Minimum 4 years of hospitality experience
- Previous experience with Asian or Asian-fusion cuisine preferred
- TIPS or other recognized Alcohol Certification a plus and will be required if chosen for the position
- A neat and professional appearance
- Efficient and accurate communication skills
- Ability to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Excellent memory and ability to multitask
- Work schedule flexibility with night, weekend and holiday availability. Sunday and Monday availability in particular are a must
- A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high-volume environments
