About the role

This position supports middle school age students with emotional disturbances.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the total instructional program for emotionally disturbed students in individual and group settings.
  • Works with individual teachers, counselors, support personnel, parents, teaching assistants, volunteers, community agencies, and referring school personnel.

Requirements

  • Valid Oregon Teaching License with Special Education endorsement appropriate for assigned level(s).

Qualifications

  • Experience working with emotionally disturbed students.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement behavior skills and social-emotional growth programs.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $53,831 - $105,956, prorated based on FTE.
