About the role
This position supports middle school age students with emotional disturbances.
Responsibilities
- Manages the total instructional program for emotionally disturbed students in individual and group settings.
- Works with individual teachers, counselors, support personnel, parents, teaching assistants, volunteers, community agencies, and referring school personnel.
Requirements
- Valid Oregon Teaching License with Special Education endorsement appropriate for assigned level(s).
Qualifications
- Experience working with emotionally disturbed students.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement behavior skills and social-emotional growth programs.
