About the role
The EMI/EMC Engineer/Analyst - Space Exploration Avionics System is responsible for designing and testing avionics systems to ensure they meet electromagnetic interference and emission standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze avionics systems to comply with EMI/EMC regulations
- Conduct tests to measure system performance and identify potential issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EMI/EMC solutions into product development
- Document findings and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EMI/EMC engineering
- Strong knowledge of RF and analog circuit design
- Experience with EMC testing equipment and standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CAD software for schematic and PCB design
- Good understanding of signal integrity and grounding principles
