About the program
The Orchestra Post-Graduate Communications Internship Program is a hands-on opportunity for recent college graduates to gain meaningful experience across strategic communications, public affairs, media engagement, and brand storytelling. The program runs from August 25 to December 18, 2026, with a hybrid internship location in New York, NY or Washington, DC, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in-office. Compensation is $18/hour, with the potential for permanent, full-time employment contingent upon individual performance and company needs.

This Opportunity: Arts, Lifestyle & Hospitality
Interns in this practice area work alongside communications professionals to support clients across arts and culture, travel, tourism, hospitality, food and beverage, architecture, design, and lifestyle brands. They gain experience developing communications campaigns that build brand awareness, generate media coverage, and connect organizations with their audiences through compelling storytelling.
Qualifications
Required:
- A bachelor's degree (or a graduation date prior to the internship start date)
- Prior internship or relevant work experience in the selected practice area
- Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Digital fluency and eagerness to learn new platforms
- A strong interest in communications, marketing, arts, lifestyle, or related fields
