About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Assists the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
  • Engages customers and resolves complaints, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Monitors and coaches team members to improve customer service and sales.
  • Safeguards store assets, manages inventory, and oversees cash management.
  • Ensures store cleanliness and responds to emergencies.
  • Trains and supports team members in using technology systems.
  • Manages security and complies with all company policies and regulations.
  • Supports the Pharmacy during busy periods, including serving as a pharmacy technician.
  • Analyzes financial data, creates action plans, and engages the team to drive store improvement.
  • Communicates with team members and actively addresses their concerns.
  • Plans and communicates the company and store strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication.
  • Completion of the Store Manager training program or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Willingness to relocate to a different store location if promoted.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and two years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid pharmacy technician license (state requirement).
  • Successfully completed the Walgreens Community Internship Program.
  • Completion of required learning and development courses and certifications.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage inventory, handle cash transactions, and maintain store cleanliness. Proficiency in technology systems and compliance with company policies.

Pay

$45,000 - $71,550 annually

Schedule

Flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
