About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Assists the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
  • Engages customers and resolves complaints to ensure a positive experience.
  • Supports external partnerships and drives community outreach opportunities.
  • Safeguards store assets, monitors inventory, and manages cash transactions.
  • Ensures store cleanliness and responds to emergencies.
  • Trains and coaches team members on technology systems and inventory procedures.
  • Monitors and improves customer service metrics.
  • Manages store operations, including scheduling, performance, and financial reporting.
  • Supports pharmacy operations during busy periods.
  • Communicates with team members and supports the company's strategy.
  • Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication.
  • Completion of the Store Manager training program or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Willingness to relocate to a different store location if promoted.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED with two years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid pharmacy technician license (if required by state).
  • Successfully completed the Walgreens Community Internship Program.

Pay

$45,000 - $71,550 annually

Schedule
