About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Supports the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
  • Engages customers and resolves complaints, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Monitors and improves store sales and profitability.
  • Safeguards store assets and merchandise, and executes operational feedback.
  • Ensures store cleanliness and maintenance, and responds to emergencies.
  • Trains and coaches team members on technology systems and inventory management.
  • Complies with company policies and regulations, including alcohol and tobacco sales.
  • Completes special assignments and supports pharmacy during busy periods.
  • Analyzes financial and performance data, creating action plans for store improvement.
  • Communicates with team members and actively addresses their concerns.
  • Plans and communicates the company and store strategy.

Requirements

Full-time position. Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico), willing to work flexible schedules, and able to relocate if needed. Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and completion of the Store Manager training program or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, or Walgreens Community Internship Program completion.
  • Two years of supervisory experience, or relevant business major experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including professional ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate regularly with team members and actively respond to their concerns.
  • Completion of the Store Manager learning and development program, or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.

Skills

Strong leadership, customer service, and business acumen. Proficiency in technology systems and inventory management. Ability to manage a team and execute operational feedback.

Pay

$45,000 - $71,550 annually

Schedule

Flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
