Emerging Store Manager

About the role

Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Supports the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
• Engages customers and resolves complaints to ensure a positive experience.
• Monitors and coaches team members to improve customer service and sales.
• Safeguards store assets, manages cash and inventory, and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Ensures store cleanliness and responds to emergencies.
• Trains and supports team members in using technology systems.
• Manages security and complies with legal requirements.
• Supports pharmacy operations during busy periods.
• Analyzes financial data and creates action plans to improve store performance.
• Communicates with team members and plans company strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• Valid pharmacy technician license (if required by state).
• Completion of Walgreens LEAP training or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
• Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in retail or pharmacy.
• Basic understanding of store operations and compliance with legal requirements.

Pay

$45,000 - $71,550 based on experience and qualifications.
