About the role
Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters. Manages the front end of the store and makes recommendations on overall operations. Assists the Store Manager with store operations to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
- Engages customers and resolves complaints, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Supports external partnerships and drives community outreach opportunities.
- Safeguards store assets, monitors inventory, and manages cash management.
- Ensures store cleanliness and responds to emergencies.
- Trains and coaches team members on technology systems and inventory procedures.
- Provides safety and well-being for team members, utilizing the Security Operations Center.
- Analyzes financial and performance data, creating action plans for store improvement.
- Assists in pharmacy operations during busy periods, including serving as a pharmacy technician.
- Manages team member performance, discipline, and development.
- Communicates with team members and supports the company and store strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including professional ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
- Completion of Store Manager training program or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials training.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
- Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to relocate to a different store location if promoted.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with two years of supervisory experience.
- Valid pharmacy technician license, if required by state.
- Successfully completed a Walgreens Community Internship Program.
Skills

Pay
$45,000 - $71,550 annually.
Schedule
Flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekends.
