About the role

The Supervisor - Strategy & Emerging Accounts supports the governance, strategic planning, execution, and performance management of non-Hyundai Motor Group customer accounts. This role serves as a cross-functional coordinator between Commercial, Operations, Legal, Finance, Corporate Planning, and functional teams to ensure contract requirements, scope commitments, operational assumptions, KPI expectations, strategic initiatives, and profitability considerations are clearly documented, actively monitored, and consistently executed.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Business Planning Support:

    • Support strategic planning for Emerging Accounts by compiling account, operational, market, and financial inputs to evaluate growth opportunities, service expansion, and account priorities.
    • Aid in business cases, account strategy, and decision-support documents for leadership review.
    • Coordinate with Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Corporate Planning to assess account performance, profitability trends, operational constraints, risks, and scalability.
    • Track strategic initiatives, key milestones, open issues, decision points, and follow-up actions to support execution readiness.

  • Contract Administration & Governance:

    • Support Emerging Account contract lifecycle activities, including MSA/SOW/WO coordination, renewals, amendments, and change requests, by ensuring scope, deliverables, controls, and execution requirements are clearly defined.
    • Maintain contract documentation controls, including version control, redline logs, approval tracking, executed-copy distribution, and key contract reference materials.
    • Support contract readiness by validating alignment between contract requirements, operational capability, billing structure, cost assumptions, and P&L expectations.

  • KPI & Profitability Oversight:

    • Compile and analyze KPI and profitability reporting inputs for non-group accounts (volumes, exceptions, accessorials, claims exposure, cost-to-serve) using available source files/tools.
    • Maintain corrective action logs with Commercial/Operations/Finance owners.

  • Operating Rhythm & Process Support (Supporting):

    • Support implementation of scalable governance and contract control processes (intake, change control, KPI review cadence, reporting packs) that improve execution consistency.
    • Collect operational pain points and propose improvements to templates, workflows, and controls that reduce rework and improve clarity.
    • Cook with Operations to ensure SOP references and execution notes remain current for contract-aligned requirements.

  • Management Reporting:

    • Prepare Power-Point ready leadership updates and maintain Excel-based reporting packs for Emerging (non-HMG) accounts, focusing on clear status visibility: contract standing, governance cadence, KPI snapshots, and profitability headlines.
    • Maintain standardized dashboards and an issues/actions/decisions log.
    • Provide leadership-ready rollups supported by traceable detail (source files, trackers, meeting notes), escalating execution risks and open items with owners and next steps.

  • Ad-Hoc Support & Continuous Improvement:

    • Provide structured support on time-sensitive deliverables (commercial decks, governance packs, contract summaries, trackers) with consistent quality and version control.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline work routines and propose standardized template or workflow enhancements.
