About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Websites Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality veterinary websites that enhance patient care and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom veterinary websites using industry-standard web technologies.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and practice managers to ensure websites accurately reflect the practices' services and branding.
• Implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve website visibility and online presence.
• Ensure websites are user-friendly and accessible, adhering to best practices in web design and accessibility guidelines.
• Monitor website performance and make necessary updates to maintain optimal functionality.
• Stay current with emerging trends in web development and SEO to continuously improve website quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development and/or SEO.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts and their application to veterinary practices.
