About the role
At EVCC, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Websites Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality veterinary websites that enhance patient care and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom veterinary websites using industry-standard web technologies.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and practice managers to ensure websites accurately reflect the practices' services and branding.
- Implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve website visibility and online presence.
- Ensure websites are user-friendly and accessible, adhering to best practices in web design and accessibility guidelines.
- Monitor website performance and make necessary updates to maintain optimal functionality.
- Stay current with emerging trends in web development and SEO to continuously improve website quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development and/or SEO.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly.
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and their application to veterinary practices.
