As an Associate Veterinarian at VCA, you will use your superior medical judgment combined with empathy, confidence, and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled veterinary care.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through WOOF University and clinical studies.
- Engage in community outreach through strong shelter partnerships and VCA Charities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited school.
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state where you will be working.
- At least one year of recent, relevant experience in a veterinary clinic setting.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems.
- Skilled in managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
