About the Role

Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) is expanding to a brand-new, state-of-the-art 12,000 sq ft facility in West Springfield, MA. We are seeking Overnight Emergency Veterinarians to join our growing team and help build a world-class practice. Our 24/7 ER team collaborates closely with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Exotics, and Urgent Care departments.

This role offers a consistent and predictable schedule, lower case volume, a competitive salary with production incentives (no negative accrual), and a supportive team environment.

Exotics Department

VESH is excited to introduce a new Exotics department led by Dr. Jordan Adair, DABVP (Avian). While board-certified in Avian Medicine, Dr. Adair treats a wide range of exotic animals, including reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, and pocket pets. The department has already seen diverse cases and is developing a wildlife program in partnership with local rescue groups.

The ER team has experienced an increase in exotic and avian cases, offering a more varied caseload. Dr. Adair is passionate about teaching and training, so opportunities to engage in exotics medicine are available—though canine/feline-focused practice is fully supported as well.
