About the role

At EVCC, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Websites Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality veterinary websites that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom veterinary websites using industry-standard web technologies.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and practice managers to understand their needs and ensure websites effectively communicate services and patient care.
• Ensure websites are user-friendly, accessible, and optimized for search engines.
• Implement website updates and maintenance as needed.
• Work closely with graphic designers and content writers to create visually appealing and informative websites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development and design.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in web accessibility standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and strategies.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile optimization.
