Mountain Emergency Animal Center is a well-established, progressive emergency veterinary hospital serving Blue Ridge, Georgia and the surrounding mountain region. As the only dedicated emergency veterinary hospital within a two-hour radius, our team plays a critical role in delivering expert emergency care when pets need it most.

About the role

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Emergency Veterinarian who is compassionate, a team player, and a strong communicator. Proficiency in general medicine and surgery is required; experience is preferred, but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply.

  • Comprehensive emergency examinations, urgent care, surgery, hospitalization, and intensive care

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
  • Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Active Veterinary State License
  • USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)
