Emergency Vehicle Upfit Installer

Responsibilities

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory

Requirements

• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience with 12V electrical systems
• Preferred: Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams

Entry-level candidates with hands-on experience and electrical and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay

$20–$24 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. (No weekends)
