Emergency Technician
About the role
This individual is a member of the Emergency Department nursing and medical team and functions under the supervision of the Emergency Department Manager. Performs assignments given by Department Manager, charge RNs, or Nursing Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Performs assigned tasks under the supervision of the Emergency Department Manager, charge RNs, or Nursing Supervisor.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire or, Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire or, Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire or, Washington Emergency Medical Technician License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Unit Secretary.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or able to satisfactorily complete training program.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
