About the role
The Emergency Room Technician II (EMT, Nurse Assistant) position at Munson Medical Center supports the Emergency Department in patient care tasks, patient interactions, supply stocking, transportation of patients, and assisting with procedures. This role utilizes clinical knowledge to assist with patient needs and allows for professional development in areas of clinical skills, communication, and customer service. Daily work includes utilizing phones, answering call lights, working with peers, and patient interaction.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Emergency Department in patient care tasks
- Assists with patient interactions

Qualifications
- Minimum one-year emergency/urgent care experience or college education equivalent preferred
- Maintains BCLS certification
- EMT licensure preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to evaluate the criticality of patient needs
- Superior customer relation skills
