EMERGENCY ROOM TECHNICIAN (FT NIGHTS)

Accreditations include Advanced Primary Heart Attack Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and bronze-level Geriatric Emergency Department (GEDA). Responsibilities

Responsible for patient care/service and assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or arrhythmia test given by the Education Department (preferred)
• Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course
• Current BCLS certification (required)
• Approved Crisis Management Course (required)
• Certificate of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course (preferred)
• Certified Phlebotomist (preferred)
• IV Certification (preferred)
