About the role
The Emergency Services Department (ED) Technician supports Emergency Services Department personnel in patient care and environmental maintenance activities within a non-licensed scope of practice. Under supervision, the ED Technician assists ED staff with care of patients and contributes to maintaining a safe, clean, well-supplied department. The ED Technician may also assist the Unit Secretary/Charge Nurse with phones, order entry, and other unit support activities.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of current Medical Assistant (MA) or Patient Care Assistant (PCA) experience required
- Emergency Room experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pay
The minimum rate of pay for this position is $18.00 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This rate does not include bonuses, incentives, or differential pay.
