About the role

We are seeking a Patient Care Associate responsible for performing routine patient care, support, and services in accordance with legal scope, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing basic patient care, technical support, and assisting with medical procedures.
• Gaining patient and family cooperation through effective communication and interaction.
• Exercise sound judgment and clinical skills to support the patient’s care plan.
• Adhering to all regulations and safety standards to ensure privacy and optimal care.
• Potentially orienting new staff and performing specific departmental tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BLS certification required.
• Typically, 1 year of clinical experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of basic patient care, medical procedures, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, prioritize tasks, and resolve standard problems.

Pay

Pay range: $33.00 to $46.20 per hour, based on experience and location.

Schedule

Work hours are days, with variable days including every other weekend. Position is per diem/casual, non-exempt.
