Emergency Room RN (Full-Time) (Day Shift)

About the role

This role involves providing direct patient care in an emergency department setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medication use.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement.
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining alertness and safe work practices, as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing, RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
