Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency room nursing care to stabilize patients.
- Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity and symptoms.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments to evolving conditions.
- Ensure accurate medication administration and prevent medication errors.
- Document assessments, treatments, and progress notes promptly.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize metrics and pipelines to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide clear handoffs to subsequent care teams for continuity of care.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset by pursuing professional development and competency expansion.
- Aid in patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans.
- Maintain on-site presence and availability to meet rapid-response needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license with active state registration in the state or country.
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred for ER settings.
- Minimum 2 years ER or acute care nursing experience.
- Proficiency in triage, acuity assessment, and rapid decision-making.

- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, high-visibility ER environment.
