About the role
We are seeking a skilled Flight Paramedic to join a team dedicated to safe patient transport by air and scene call work. The role involves providing advanced life support care from initial contact through handoff to medical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Complete electronic patient care records promptly
- Perform daily base checks and narcotic counts
- Maintain equipment and supply knowledge and routine maintenance
- Participate in pre-mission briefings, safety checks, and debriefings
- Assist with pre-mission liftoff and provide support to pilots as needed
- Fill open shifts and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and external partners
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in 911 or critical care settings
- Current EMT-P license in applicable states
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification
- Advanced certifications preferred
- Additional instructor certifications and NREMT-P may be required based on location
- Advanced certification (FP-C) preferred, to be obtained within 24 months if not already held
