Emergency Response Paramedic

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency situations and determine appropriate actions based on protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using equipment like defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to offer reassurance and information.
• Act as team leader at scenes and manage units as needed.
• Drive ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and uphold the organization's image.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Hawaii State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass physical agility test.
• Preferably healthcare-related work experience.
