About the Role
A Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Specialist enhances staff education, competency, and role development within a faith-based care network. This role provides ongoing training and development to nursing staff, supports clinical practice improvement, and ensures adherence to standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate staff education programs
- Promote clinical competency and professional growth
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current Texas RN license and BLS certification
- Preferably 3 years of related experience and 1 year in acute care
