About the role
Join as an Emergency Room/Trauma Nurse in the Army, providing critical care to Soldiers and their families across various settings, from forward-based units to fixed facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating human responses to physical or psychosocial problems in episodic or acute situations.
- Delivering compassionate, competent care through education, research, and collaboration with emergency nursing experts.
- Performing a wide range of health tasks such as enroute care, medical-surgical nursing, ambulatory, inpatient, and patient hold capabilities.
- Engaging in ongoing training, continuing education, seminars, and conferences to stay current with best practices.
- Interacting with individuals, families, groups, and communities while practicing independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license
- Successful completion of the Emergency Nursing Course or waiver request for experience documentation
- U.S. citizenship for active duty service or permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
