Emergency Medicine Registered Nurse (68253)

Description Of Essential Duties

• Completion of orders on a variety of patients from minor treatment to acutely ill
• Accurate triages and discharges of patients of all ages and proficiency in identifying patients with critical needs
• Accurate medication management including administration, record maintenance, and storage
• Accurate input of patient discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer software
• Quality splinting, dressing applications, and wound care
• Positive communication with all team members and patients
• Proper delegation of duties to PCC’s, Lab Staff, and Radiology Staff
• Initiation of Pre-MD evaluation orders to expedite patient care
• Utilization of organizational specific software to reference old patient records and organizational protocols
• Supporting the Facility Leader (FL) and Nurse Operations Manager (NOM) as a positive team player
• Compliance with information security policies and management system

Qualifications

• Education: Associates
• Experience: 3 Years Experience Type: Active
• Florida RN License or compact RN license with authorization to practice in Florida
• Experience: 3 years of nursing experience required
• ER Setting Experience: 3 years’ experience in ER setting (hospital, freestanding) highly preferred
• ICU or Critical Care Experience: 1 year of ICU or Critical Care experience
• ACLSPALS Certification: Required
• Skills: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, ability to stand and work up to a 12-hour shift, ability to travel up to 50 miles, ability to lift and move patients, legible writing, clear speaking, and proficient reading in English
• Bilingual: Preferred
• Medical Marijuana Clinic Ineligibility: RN’s currently employed by or affiliated with medical marijuana clinics are ineligible for hire.
• Travel: Up to 30% travel to support clinic operations across the market
