Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

Overview: This role involves providing emergency medicine coverage in a 15-bed ED during night shifts, evaluating and managing all ages with an average of 65 patients daily. Responsibilities: Perform clinical assessments, document patient encounters accurately using the EPIC EMR system, and coordinate patient transfers via air or ground support as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold board certification in emergency medicine, with BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications through AHA. Internal medicine and family medicine physicians with emergency experience are eligible. Key Duties: Provide high-quality emergency care, manage a diverse patient population, and ensure proper documentation throughout each shift. Additional Details: The role requires working night shifts (7:30 PM - 7:30 AM) at a facility with established protocols and transfer support.
