Emergency Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

About the role

We are seeking an ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide night shift coverage in an emergency department setting. The physician will evaluate and manage patients of all ages, maintaining accurate clinical documentation during 8, 9, or 12-hour shifts. The position involves no call responsibilities and requires board certification.

Support includes advanced practice provider (APP) assistance, and prescriptive authority is mandatory. The department has established protocols and staffing support to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients of all ages in an emergency department setting.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 35,000 and 18,000 patients at two locations.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care across all age groups.

Requirements

• ABEM board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• Prescriptive authority.
• Strong clinical skills.
