About the role
Join TMC Rincon Hospital’s close-knit team of 8+ Emergency Medicine physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The Emergency Department provides 24/7 coverage with 24 hours of physician coverage (Two 12-hour shifts) and 16 hours of APP coverage (10-hour and 6-hour shifts).
Subspecialty support includes: Cardiology, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and General Surgery.
Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
Qualifications
- ABEM/AOBEM Board-Certified/Board-Eligible.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency care in an 18-bed ED (plus 3-bed observation unit) in a 55-bed acute-care hospital.
Manage a variety of emergency cases.
