About the role
Join our close-knit, well-established team of 8 physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) at ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital. Enjoy strong partnerships across the hospital, including a solid working relationship with Sound’s hospitalist program. All our providers live within one hour of the facility; some are residents of the hospital's community.
Responsibilities
- Provide care at ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital, a 58-bed Level IV trauma center with a 27-bed emergency department, certified as a stroke center.
- Volumes: 28K annual visits with 34 hours of physician coverage complemented by 12 hours of APP coverage.
- EM Physicians respond to floor codes.
- Use EPIC as an EMR.
- Main supporting facility for transfers is ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, with a helicopter service.
Qualifications
- Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Open to J-1 visa candidates with in-house visa specialists and filing fees covered.
