Qualifications

  • Completion of an Emergency Medicine accredited residency program is preferred with ABEM or AOBEM Board Certification/Board eligibility.
  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certification with significant Emergency Medicine experience will be considered.
  • Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation.
  • CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night.
  • Beside Ultrasound performed by all EM physicians.
  • Specialty services include Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, and Podiatry.

  • Known as one of the Tri-Cities, composed of Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland, and located in southeastern Washington.
  • Beautiful nature includes three major rivers and mountain ranges nearby, with plenty of outdoor recreation.
  • Known for excellent schools, which make for a great place to raise a family.
  • Up-and-coming metropolitan areas and larger metropolitan areas of Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland, Oregon, are only a few hours away.

Scheduling

  • 9-hour shifts: 5:30 am-2:30 pm, 1:30 pm-10:30 pm, 9 pm-6 am.
  • Full-time is 120 hours per month.
  • Our model consists of 27 hours per day of physician coverage and 22 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.

Compensation

  • 1099 compensation of $300/hr.
