Emergency Medicine Physician

About the Role

Provide locum tenens support in an emergency department setting, managing a wide range of cases and performing critical procedures during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage general emergency cases, including adult medical emergencies, blunt trauma, and limited pediatric cases.
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and ultrasound-guided interventions.
• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 12 shifts per month.
• Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with emergency department staff.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active DEA registration.
• Willingness to obtain state licensure.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Credentialing process may take 60-120 days.
