About the role
The Emergency Medicine Physician will join Oviedo Medical Center's Maitland Emergency Freestanding FSED in Maitland, FL.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Collaboration with a team of Facility Physician Leaders, Assistant FPLs, Advance Practice Providers, and Director of Operations
- Supporting patients with less urgent illnesses and injuries through seven fast-track rooms
- Access to teleneurology and psychiatric support for specialty care
- Handling up to 20-30 patients per day on average
Requirements
- Board certification/eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Or, board certification in Family Medicine with 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience
