Emergency Medicine Physician

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician Assistant (PA) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for full-time emergency medicine coverage at a community hospital with a 29-bed ED serving approximately 38,000 annual visits. Responsibilities include providing emergency care during 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a, plus additional hours), with coverage of a variety of specialties such as radiology, interventional radiology, psychiatry, anesthesiology, ultrasound, GYN (excluding OB), hospitalist, ENT, cardiology, and neurology. Key duties involve managing patient flow, utilizing EPIC EMR, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care. The role requires active NJ license or the ability to obtain one, and current certifications including ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS. Ideal candidates possess strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
