About the role
Seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens support in an emergency department setting.
Responsibilities
- Managing general emergency cases
- Handling adult medical emergencies and blunt trauma
- Performing essential emergency procedures such as intubation, central lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and ultrasound
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
- Basic Life Support certification
- Active DEA registration
- Willingness to obtain state licensure
- Proficiency with the Epic electronic medical record (preferred)
Schedule
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 12+ shifts per month
- Approximately 4 months duration
