Job Summary
HCA Healthcare is seeking PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their practice at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida.
About the Role
Will also consider Board Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) with Emergency Medicine experience.
Qualifications
- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Must be able to commit to work 24 hrs. per month

Emergency Department
- 30,000 Emergency Medicine visits per year
- 14-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track including 2 dedicated trauma rooms
- Multi-million-dollar expansion starting in early spring 2026 adding 11 additional bays, 2 behavioral health safe rooms, dedicated physician workspace
- 20% admission rate
- 24 hours of physician coverage
- 24 hours of APP coverage
