Emergency Medicine Physician

Role & Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume setting with an annual volume of 15,000 patients. Cover 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, with no advanced practice provider support. Utilize Meditech electronic medical records and handle a diverse patient population. Maintain required certifications and licenses, including board certification, active state license, and DEA registration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board-certified in emergency medicine
• Current active license
• DEA license
• Ability to work independently during shifts and manage emergency cases efficiently

Key Duties

• Deliver urgent care, stabilize patients, and coordinate care as needed in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• No specific backup specialties are required
