Role Overview
An Emergency Medicine physician is needed to provide locum tenens coverage at a Level II Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency care during 12-hour shifts
- Manage a high patient volume of approximately 50,000 annually
- Collaborate with APPs and physicians
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols
- Provide high-quality emergency care
- Handle diverse cases
- Maintain efficient patient turnover
- Support staff and adhere to hospital policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required
- Strong clinical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication abilities
